How do you service an oil burner/furnace, are there any sites?

I have done this before, just trying to refresh my memory. ThanksHow do you service an oil burner/furnace, are there any sites?
Turn power off.


Loosen Transformer and hinge open.


Disconnect tubing from pump to nozzle assembly.


Remove locknut at same connection.


Remove nozzle assembly and replace nozzle on end.


Make sure you use the correct size nozzle.Check #'s stamped on side.


Clean and reset electrodes.


Make sure their is no build up's in the end of gun before reinserting the nozzle assembly.


No deposits in chamber.


Check damper, chimney, heatexchanger and vent pipe.


Check filter, motor and belt.


Replace fuel filter.


Check and adjust fuel/air mixture,draft.How do you service an oil burner/furnace, are there any sites?
best and safest. call a burner tech. if you don't set something up right and it back fires you could have more of a problem than just no heat.
