Anybody know how to reset the the service light on a 07 Toyota Tacoma, after you change the oil?

Geoffry is correct. The owner's manual states it,


';The system must be reset after the


engine oil replacement. Reset the system


by the following procedure:


1. Turn the ignition key to the “OFF” position


with the odometer reading shown.


(For details, see “Odometer and two


trip meters” on page 154 in this Section.)


2. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position


while holding down the trip meter


reset knob.


Hold down the knob for at least 5


seconds. The odometer indicates “000000”


and the light goes off.


If the system fails to reset, the light will


continue flashing.';

Toyota typically puts the instructions for resetting the MAINT REQD service light in the Owner's Manual, right next to the description of the meaning of that light...Anybody know how to reset the the service light on a 07 Toyota Tacoma, after you change the oil?
Dealer or check the manual, the instructions should be in there
press and hold the needle for re-setting the tachometer (in the dash-cluster gage) then as your holding that down, take your key turn it to the accessory setting (turn the power on but not the engine) turn off.. then turn it back on.. you should see several dashes that will blink and turn off.








BTW.. I sold Toyota for several years.. now that I am with another brand I really miss them and appreciate them more beacause they are the most reliable cars out there
