What are all the fluids oil change services top-off when you get you car oil change?

well all depends on where you go and what you pay for. I own and operate 3 Pennzoil ten minutes and we check : power steering, brake fluid (although we do not add to the brake system we just check it and alert customer of level), anti-freeze/coolant, washer fluid, tranny fluid, rear differential, front differential, transfer case (if applicable), clutch fluid (if stick shift and hydraulic clutch). As far as the oil 5w30 is the recommended oil for that car. Brand is not important. I have all the major brands and they all meet the GF-4 specs. I hear stories all the time from customers that one is better than the other but in reality it is just how often you change it. I do not carry any non spec or recycled oils. I live in Michigan and about 2 hours south of me in Detroit they are using recycled oils and saying they are putting in Pennzoil and what not. Our distributor is looking into it and is thinking about getting legal help as this hurts our business although all Pennzoil Ten Minute Oil Changes are independently owned and operated it makes us all look bad. What are all the fluids oil change services top-off when you get you car oil change?
washer fluid, transmission oil if accessible, grease fittings(AKA zerk fittings) to lube your suspension, if there are any... coolant, brake fluid and power steering fluid. (this may vary by different service departments).

There are two things about oil (weight and brand/type):

As for the oil weight to use, it all depends on your the wear your engine has presently and what climate you live in. I used run 20w50 here in Southern California but the synthetic oil I'm using now only comes in 10w30. In colder climates, you'll want something thinner... 10w30 or so.

As for oil brand/type, personally I prefer full synthetic oil (Mobil 1, valvoline, etc) as this drastically increases the longevity of the engine as decreases the damage caused by friction. I know it is expensive, but it is well worth it (in my opinion)... even if you do not have an expensive hot-rod.

Your next thing to think about it are oil filters... The best oil filters are Bosch, Mobil 1 and K%26amp;N (not any order). They cost a bit more, but are worth it for the amount of contaminants they filter. The worst are usually the store brands, FRAM and Penzoil.
