Is fully synthetic oil okay for mercedes 313 sprinter 2002 service?

Synthetic oil = engine oil. Just completely pure. They are not equivalent or some Franken-oil.

Natural (or conventional) oils are made / purified from petroleum. So lots of impurities gets by. And it is these impurities that breaks down and causes problem.

Synthetic oil is MADE from shorter chain molecules and so there's NO impurities that can break down later. But it IS motor oil.

So always feel secure in using Synthetic.

Good Luck..

P.S. The one exception is that because sythetics are more expensive, they can afford to add MORE additives / friction modifier. This becomes a problem in wet clutch on motorcycles (only).

P.P.S. Actually because they are MADE - technically they are Franken-oil (made oil). Just not scary. :-)
