A car had new engine oil at every service but never actually used any oil, why ?

The oil level was checked regularly but it never needed topping up. One day the engine just seized up at 93000 miles. Is there any connection ? Do the engines of cars that consume lots of oil tend to last longer ?A car had new engine oil at every service but never actually used any oil, why ?
No. Something catastrophic happened to the engine but it was not lack of oil changing from the sound of it. You don't mention the type of vehicle but if it was a four cylinder that could be in the time frame of a timing belt going bad and doing severe engine damage if it had never been replaced so without more information anyone would just be guessing.A car had new engine oil at every service but never actually used any oil, why ?
it depends on the cars now a days, try switching to Full synthetic, it may cost more but it does help to protect your engine, and smaller particles on a microscopic level, so it lubes your car faster at start up and yes you can go longer on oil changes. Change from conventional to full synthetic, 1,500 first oil change, 3,000 second oil change then every 5,000 miles depending on the oil. I recommend mobile one. It does the job better than any other oil and you can go 15,000 miles before changing it.
no unless your oil pump packed up
Engines are not suppose to use nor to leak oil. No, there is no connection.
Not supposed to use or drip oil, engine could have been toasted by overheating.
Did the engine have oil in it after it seized?? It could have blown an oil cooler line or filter or the drain plug could have fell out. At any rate, there is no connection to usin g or not using oil.
