Change the oil %26amp; filter - 4 qts


Adjust tire PSI


Check brake fluid and add if necessary.


Adjust clutch cable %26amp; throttle cables free play.


95% of shops won't check the valve clearances and adjust the valves, unless they're making noise, or the customer requests it (repair cost will be more).


They normaly don't need adjusting that soon, so shops don't bother checking.


Check drive belt tension - rarely needs adjustment.


Lube moving parts (spray with WD-40) foot pegs, side stand, handlebar levers, etc.


Check all lights.


Check battery fluid level.


1/2 - 1 1/2 hrs depending on the amount of work required.


Purchase a shop manual, save your money and do the work yourself.


The shop manual will tell you what to do and how to do it.
