Car transmission oil service?

The Honda dealer says that the transmission oil is discolored. The Van (Honda Odyssey) has 55,000 miles on it. Do I get the transmission oil changed .Car transmission oil service?
At over 50,000 miles, I would have the transmission fluid changed. I would also consider having the filter changed. This is not part of a standard fluid change.Car transmission oil service?
If this ws an old Chevy, or Ford, I'd say not to change it at that many miles.

However, being a Honda you may consider changing it.

Did you look at the oil on the dipstick?

Did it look discolored to you? Or are you simply trusting everything you're being told?

Smell it too....Does it smell burned?
sure you do and you can check that easy if its not much red color to it its time to change and you dont need a dealership to change oil just higher cost any shop can do service or oil changes just get the paper work
Yes. Change fluid and replace the filter. Avoid the ';flush';.
if the fluid looks dark then definitely get it changed before it starts to slip.
