Is it legal to place oil service reminder stickers on front windshields in Califronia?

I need to know this ASAP. I thought it was illegal to place any stickers on the front windshield and that in California anyhow they had to go somewhere else, like inside the door for viewing when the door is open.Is it legal to place oil service reminder stickers on front windshields in Califronia?
I can't cite for you the exact figure, but a certain amount of square inches in the corners of windshields can have obstructions.

The old stickers were solid, and paper, the new stickers are a self-adhesive clear vinyl, not even noticeable except when you want to look at them. The old stickers left a mess when ripped off. The new ones aren't even adhesive to metal, only to glass, and they peel with the flick of a fingernail. There is absolutely no reason for them to be illegal. An officer would have to walk up to your car and have his face within a foot of the windshield, with the sun at the right angle, to even know one was there anyway. Besides, if it was illegal, it could be placed on the rear view mirror without interference with vision. I have had them on my windshield and mirror both
I doubt it. I've always had oil change reminder stickers placed in the upper left corner of the windshield. I find it hard to believe so many places would do that if it was illegal. If you don't like it, just remove the sticker and place it somewhere else.
no you can have them on your windshield everyone I know has them on their front windshield and no one has ever said anything
As long as the sticker doesn't obstruct/limit vision, front screen is fine.
