Manually reset the oil service light on a 2009 Audi A4?

I have a 2009 Audi A4 and just changed the oil how do I reset the service due alert on it I need to do it manually I dont have the reset tool for itManually reset the oil service light on a 2009 Audi A4?
The only way that I am aware of is using an Audi approved scan tool to access the adaptation values in the instrument cluster and changing them there. Your local Audi dealership shouldn't have a problem resetting the light for you.Manually reset the oil service light on a 2009 Audi A4?
My husband says you can manually reset the service light.





With the ignition off, press the spanner button, then while keeping the spanner button pressed in, witch the ignition on then release the spanner button, then press the trip (0.0) button) and it will reset the light.
