YES BECAUSE THE FIRST SOME RUNNING IS CRITICAL FOR THE ENTIRE LIFE OF YOUR CAR...ITS KNOWN AS RUNNING IN....ALL GEARS AND METTALIC PARTS INSIDE THE ENGINE MATES EACH OTHER, LEAVING A GOOD SLURRY LIKE WASTE IN TO OIL....BECAUSE ITS FRESH...ALL PARTS WILL SETS IN WITHIN THIS PERIOD....AND ENGINE TUNING IS ALTERED IN THIS PERIOD, BECAUSE OF FRESHNESS IN SPRINGS AND FASTNERS USED TO ADJUST CARBURETTOR....OR INJECTION CONTROL....SO A OIL CHANGE WITH FLUSHING MUST NEED AT FIRST SERVICE AND A REPLACEMENT OF AIR FILTER ELEMENT ASO ESSENTIAL, TO AVOID SEVERE CLOGGING OF INTAKE.......
because car has made for may be more then 1 year or 6month before selling.so it is required and i think more over it required in every service
